Sales Executive, Crawley | £30,000–£40,000 basic + generous commission

We’re working on behalf of an exciting and growing professional services business based in Crawley, who are looking for an enthusiastic and commercially minded Sales Executive to join their team.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is driven, confident and hungry to succeed, with the opportunity to build a long-term career within sales, business development and finance.Whether you already have some sales experience or you’re a graduate looking to take your first step into a fast-paced commercial environment, this could be a great opportunity to develop your skills and earning potential.
Responsibilities:
You’ll be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, speaking with business owners and senior decision-makers and building strong relationships with prospective clients.Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Making outbound calls to prospective clients and business owners
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Speaking confidently with senior decision-makers
- Understanding client requirements and identifying suitable opportunities
- Managing prospects through the initial sales process
- Working towards individual and team targets
- Maintaining accurate records of activity and opportunities
- Developing your knowledge of the wider business and financial market
Requirements:
We’re looking for someone who is ambitious, confident and commercially driven.You may already have experience within sales, telesales, recruitment, business development or another target-driven environment, or you could be a recent graduate looking to launch your career in sales.We’re particularly interested in candidates who have:
- A confident and professional telephone manner
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A genuine interest in sales and business
- A resilient and positive attitude
- The motivation to work towards and exceed targets
- Confidence speaking with business owners and senior professionals
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
