Transport Administrator

We are currently recruiting for a Transport Administrator to join a busy and supportive transport team based in West Malling. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being organised, keeping things running smoothly and working in a fast-paced environment.
You’ll play an important role in supporting the day-to-day transport operation, helping the team stay organised and ensuring the administration behind the scenes is kept up to date.
What will you be doing?
- Carrying out driver debriefs and gathering relevant information following deliveries.
- Handling transport paperwork and ensuring documentation is completed accurately.
- Assisting with transport planning and helping coordinate daily activities.
- Managing bookings and keeping records up to date.
- Providing general administrative support to the transport department.
- Supporting the wider transport team to ensure the smooth running of daily operations.
- Communicating with drivers and colleagues to help resolve queries and keep things moving.
What are we looking for?
- Previous administration experience, ideally within transport, logistics or a similar fast-paced environment.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confident communication skills, with the ability to liaise with drivers and colleagues.
- A proactive approach and the ability to manage a variety of tasks.
- Someone who enjoys being part of a team and is happy to get involved where needed.
